How it works
Destination Finder answers one question: where should you travel? You choose the things you care about, and we rank destinations by how well they match.
1. Choose your preferences
Start with the popular preferences on the home page, or open “More filters” for the full set of 40 across nature, climate, culture, activities, food, trip type and practical considerations.
2. We score every destination
Each destination has a list of attributes it genuinely supports. Your match score is simply the share of your selected preferences that a destination covers. Select four preferences and a destination that covers three of them scores 75%. Ties are broken by how popular the destination is overall.
3. See why a place matched
Every result can show its reasoning: which preferences it covers, and which it doesn't. Nothing is hidden and nothing is invented.
